Sarasota area Realtor Nick Herron recently had an all-time week to remember: He was involved in closing four real estate transactions that surpassed $9 million from Feb. 13-20.
Three were residential sales, and one was a commercial sale. “We had a good year last week,” quips Herron, with the Herron Group out of the Sarasota office of Re/Max Alliance Group.
Some of the deals, Herron says, had been a few weeks in the making, including a $5.05 million residential sale on Casey Key. On that listing, where he represented the buyer and seller, Herron advertised the property in national high-end publications, including the DuPont Registry. But even marketing, says Herron, doesn’t explain such a good week. “So much of real estate,” Herron tells Coffee Talk, “is timing.”
The Casey Key sale was of a two-story, four-bedroom house and guesthouse that overlooks the dock and bay. The property includes a bayside pool and a beachside cabana.
Herron’s other deals of the week include:
Represented the buyers for a 3,404-square-foot home on the Phillippi River in Sarasota that sold for about $1.14 million. The four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom home includes a pool, spa, boat dock and Gulf access and is on a one-acre lot;
Represented the buyers for a three-bedroom, three-bathroom home in The Oaks in Osprey that sold for $690,000.
Represented the sellers of a commercial property on Tamiami Trail in Venice for $2.2 million. The new owner plans to use the site for a public storage facility.
