A company controlled by Eric Howell has acquired the former Venice Chrysler dealership property for $2.2 million. Midway Holdings Inc. bought the 4.7-acre site, 1550 S. Tamiami Trail in Venice, to use as a public storage facility.
The seller was investor Joe Collins of Casey Key, who bought the property from CRM Florida Properties LLC in 2010 for $2 million.
The property was listed by Nick Herron of the Herron Group with the Re/Max Alliance Group of Sarasota.
