Course Description: The Tournament Players Club golf course at Prestancia, certified in the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program, offers players two excellent choices. The first is the original Country Club of Sarasota course, a 6,561-yard, par-72 course designed by Bruce Devlin and Robert Von Hagge in the mid 1970s, which still attracts fans who love its marvelous greens. The second is the newer Stadium Course, conceived by Ron Garl and Mike Souchak. Built with spectators in mind, it features mound-lined fairways and bowl-shaped contouring around the greens to provide better viewing. It has hosted several Champions Tour events since its 1987 opening.
