Course Description: The community includes two 18-hole championship golf courses. The original course, The Champions, was designed by Dick Wilson. Built in 1957 to challenge the world’s finest players, it has hosted such legends as Gary Player, Sam Snead and Ken Venturi. The second, The Lakes, opened in 1982 and is ranked as one of the best courses in Florida by Florida Golfweek Magazine. A Joe Lee-designed course, it winds amid sparkling lakes and has well-guarded greens with spectacular approaches. Both courses have five tee box locations at each tee to accommodate players of every skill level. Both have been completely renovated.
